Lllabo is pleased to announce the establishment of its visiting lecture series, the Lllabo Luminaries Lectures, inviting prominent scholars, writers, architects, artists and other luminaries to address pertinent themes relating to architecture and urbanism in Japan.

The first event in the series, on 22 March 2010, is entitled “Art and the City: The Political Uses of Creativity and Fine Art in Urban Japan Today,” by Dr Adrian FavellProfessor of Sociology at UCLA in California, and Director of the Centre for Global and Regional Ethnographies at Aarhus University, Denmark.
